Galerie Buchholz is pleased to present our third solo exhibition with Caleb Considine (*1982 in Los Angeles, lives and works in New York). Here Considine continues his practice of observational painting in the studio and surrounding area. Objects on shop towels or at-hand surfaces, architecture of public transit in New York, and part of a stairwell mural are carefully replicated at close range. Leopard 2 shows an unassembled war model of a tank, a recurring theme for the artist. In Lost Cove Tiki, we stare into the interior of a cocktail mug from the tropical mixology and catering service @lostcovetiki.
